How effective a tool is it really for him? I do not have a twitter account, either. By continuing to use Twitter, Trump will continue to be the most controversial POTUS. Is that really worth his time?
“...how effective...”
Extremely effective!! It was President Trump’s initial tweet when he announced that he had been “wiretapped” (under surveillance)) that first broke the news that Trump was indeed being spied upon by the Obama White House. If he had not done this, the American people would never have been informed of what was happening.
The enemy media was NOT going to report that. i.e., “Trump was “’wiretapped’”; (hah- when hell freezes over) so he had to announce it himself. And this is just one example of his tweets getting the news out there there that would have been buried if the enemy media had their way.
Yes 100% percent, the most effective way to reach the American people, connect with them and let them know how he is looking out for Americans. Within a few hours after a tweet 30K-80K people have liked the tweet, and many thousands have retweeted it to others. He has over 100 million followers on social media.
I never tweet and I followed DJT as the first person I ever followed, added Lou Dobbs, Hannity, The Last Refuge. From what I see Trump’s tweets may at first spark controversy but all of them get people looking at things that need examination. All of those followers are learning about the issues and the players. There are invested in the success of Trumph & America and by following him and supporting him they make it clear that he has the support of America behind him.
You can tell how effective it is by the way the media goes bonkers about it. He makes an end run around their bullcrap.

1) Very.
2) Most emphatically, yes.
