We dont know what he was arrested for because the article never stated what the felony charge was. If he really endangered bystanders, lucking out by not hitting and wounding one or more, tried to shoot the two attempted kidnappers in the back and repeatedly missed, and then threatened and intimidated the witnesses, it sounds like they could have charged him with impersonating a Texas cop.
