The most suspicious part of Trump’s presidency (get a shovel)
Washington Post ^ | 31/3/17

Posted on 04/02/2017 3:38:29 AM PDT by Eleutheria5

THE ANTIC behavior of Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), who was slipped classified surveillance by senior aides to President Trump, rushed to hold a news conference about it and then scurried back to the White House to brief Mr. Trump, was clumsy and clownish — but it may have accomplished its main purpose. Mr. Nunes managed to derail his own House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into the far more serious matter of Russia’s interference in the presidential election, and to distract attention from the emergence of troubling new evidence.

As the congressman’s bizarre circuit was chewed over in Washington, it emerged that Jared Kushner, the president’s aide and son-in-law, had met with an executive from a Russian bank that is on the U.S. sanctions list; former national security adviser Michael Flynn sought immunity in exchange for his testimony on his Russian ties; and experts told the Senate Intelligence Committee that Russian hacking and propaganda efforts are continuing, and have recently been directed at House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).

Mark R. Warner (Va.), ranking Democrat on the Senate committee, offered an appeal to common sense: The public, he said, must “not lose sight of what the investigation is about: An outside foreign adversary effectively sought to hijack our most critical democratic process, the election for president” in order to “favor one candidate over another.” Unfortunately, Mr. Trump and willing accomplices such as Mr. Nunes have been all too effective in clouding this shocking reality and impeding effective investigation of it.

Irony: If Putin himself came to California, the state would allow him to vote. But liberals and RINOs would not see that as interfering because "no person is illegal", or some such nonsense.

That only applies to members of LaRaza, not racist Russians.

I was going to start listing the instances of obvious bias in this article, but soon realized there are so many, it would take me all day.

Suffice it to say ... this entire piece is rubbish journalism, excluding the words 'and' and 'the.'

Excellent article by Bruce Bialosky
[Twitter: https://twitter.com/brucebialosky]:

Explains it thusly: “collusion and conspiracy by the Obama administration and members of the security apparatus of this country to illegally spread innuendo and lies about the Trump campaign and transition team.”

“The Obamaslobs hoped by doing this, they’d damage Trump’s efforts to overturn Obama’s policies and turn back the atrocity of ‘progressivism’....which is the expansion of the federal regulatory state and of globalism on a massive scale.”

If it was the Russians' plan to undermine democracy, it is the Democrats and media who are doing their work for them. Ever since the election, we have seen a 24/7 effort by the media/Democrat complex to undermine the Trump administration through a campaign of leaks, rumor, innuendo, riots, marches, lawsuits, investigations, and judicial corruption. Our own intelligence agencies are working to undermine our own government.

The Russians must indeed be laughing: the very people who are calling Trump a "traitor" are the ones who are carrying out the Russian plan.

Does he mean like when British agent Christopher Steele smeared Trump? Or maybe when the Ukranians and Saudis bought Hillary?

Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,Russians,

People are beginning to get so awfully tired of that record skipping in the same place over and over again. This is akin to Einstein’s definition of insanity. But then again, I repeat myself (pun intended). The Democrats are convinced the Goebbels methods of projection are working for them, but today, only in the media echo chamber does this work, and even then it is waning mightily.

It has come to this point they are willing to drive this train right off the cliff no matter what their eyes can see but they refuse to acknowledge, all because they have the media to amplify their “plan”, as if that had any weight of credibility.

As I have said many times before, Trump learned his street smarts in one of the most brutal street smarts enclaves in the world. “Slip Fighting” is an art of those streets and if one is not practiced in it, they will rue the day that is coming really soon because the hammer is about to come down with the revelations of what Nunes was shown and what Schiffty now knows. Has anyone noticed that since his nothing statement after seeing the same information, he has been really quiet. This thing implicated a long list of names in both houses of Congress, let alone those who orchestrated it from the previous administration.

So, tomorrow starts the process stated in the Constitution and the Democrat Party is its own worst enemy while also taking the media along with it.

I think Warner is right to go after foreign interference in our election - only it was a British socialist and leftist, one Chris Steele, who was paid for a ridiculous, defamatory report that was the spark for this garbage and that may have been authorized by McCabe, the second in command at the FBI, and who is married to a failed VA State Senate candidate who received $ 700,000 for her election from one Terry McAuliffe, the non-Virginian governor of Mark Warner’s Virginia.

wait! Don’t discuss what was revealed, just complain about process.

Don’t ask how many other candidates (Jeb, Bernie, Ted, etc.) were surveiled, complain about process.

Don’t ask for timelines of the surveilance, or proof of FISA warrants, complain about process.

The WAPO shows all the markings of swamp critters scurrying for cover.

A “foreign adversary”? You have to ask?

His name is Barack.

Creepy Jeff Bezos and his blog (aka: The Washington Post) spew their lies and propaganda on a daily basis.

A few months back, they pushed a headline story (that the rest of the liberal media repeated) that the Russians "hacked" a power plant in Burlington Vermont.

This pushed this claptrap because they thought it fueled the fire of their "Russian hacking" narrative on President Trump.

When the story quickly fell apart, Bezos's Blog refused to back down, and kept the original story up long after it was refuted as a lie.

Mr. Nunes managed to derail his own House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into the far more serious matter of Russia’s interference in the presidential election, and to distract attention from the emergence of troubling new evidence.

Where oh where was The Washington Post when it was revealed that Hillary Clinton's bathroom server was utterly open and defenseless for the Russians? The Washington Post was not concerned because it did not believe that American secrets are dangerous if they fall into the hands of our adversaries, at least if blame for that calamity might fall on a Democrat candidate for president.

The Washington Post admits, but only deep into its own article, that there is no, repeat no, evidence of the Russians succeeding. The Democrats' investigation is an allegation in search of harm, harm in search of a scandal, a scandal in search of a crime and a crime in search of an impeachment.

The Republican investigation is an undoubted crime at the felony level done without question secretly by our own government against more than one innocent citizen. So it is a series of crimes against real victims committed by those entrusted to protect us rather than betray us, in search of a conspiracy to overthrow the government.

Which investigation, one should ask the ombudsman of The Washington Post, is more important to the integrity of our election process and, even more importantly, to our liberty?

If you believe that the grave danger to the American experiment has always been and will always be an internal threat rather than a foreign invasion, the answer is obvious.

Gives “fake news” a completely new dimension. The compost sounds like they’re on PMS. Can they even call themselves objective anymore?

The most astonishing thing about this editorial is either 1) How clueless the Editorial board of the WaPo is, or 2) How clueless they think their readers are.

There clearly are a good number of people, especially those in the Beltway Cocoon, who believe this tripe, but there are a whole lot of people in flyover country who know that the cocoon inhabitants are fools. The "Look! Look! Look at that Russian squirrel" distraction may work on the coasts, but to the rest of us, these people are nothing but babbling idiots.
