Exactly. An old friend of mine who passed away recently was an artillery sergeant in Vietnam. He also went on a number of Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols ‘’lrps’’) and was just an all around killer. He told me in no uncertain terms women should never be in combat roles. He said they simply don’t have the strength or the stamina to endure combat.
My daughter was in the Marines. She married a guy in Marine infantry. She thinks the idea that men & women can be equal in combat is beyond stupid. She also points out that passing one test is nice, but that folks who do it for real need to pass the test with ease, and continue to do so for years.
In combat, no one wants to be standing next to someone who can meet minimum standards...
