The problem is not HFC, the problem is Ryan did not deliver a bill to repeal ACA.

True.

Ryan is the culprit and a Bastard.

You could see him smirking like a high school kid behind Trump when he gives speeches. He was even smirking alongside Trump with Mitch McConnell.

His objective is to destroy Trump and he is alienating Trump from the very people who support him most. The anti-Trumpers are NOT on the right of the party. They are on the left and that snake Ryan didn’t call for a vote as that would have made things OBVIOUS most Congressmen who opposed Repeal of Obamacare were RINOs. By not calling for a floor vote, he allowed himself to control the narrative, alienate Trump from his base, and keep Obamacare, which is what he, the RINOs, Boehner and the Democrat left wanted all along.

Yes, you are correct. Too bad some people here will just emote about Trumps “failure” to get the obamacare noose off of our necks in his first two months in office. And I didn’t read that tweet properly the first time I saw it because I thought it was directly referencing Ryan-care - but it is actually about the ENTIRE REPUBLICAN AGENDA. So, that is important to note.

Yes, there are definitely never-trumpers still simmering and plotting. Do I think most of them are in HFC? No, they are everywhere. Do I think Trump wants a version of obamacare because he loves Big Government controlling your health care/insurance options? No, I think he actually has compassion for those who have pre-existing conditions and young people who are still at home because the jobs picture has been so awful. They should have a device in whatever legislation they come up with to step that adult child coverage age back to something like 22 yo.once the employment situation begins to improve, which should be rapid. One has to look at the MANY charitable things that Trump has done under the radar to see that he does have compassion, which is very different that nearly all elected officials in DC.
And yes, I feel that Ryan tried to set Trump up, and instead it got hung around Ryans neck. GOOD. But it did hurt Trump by way of optics and messaging. As can be seen on this very forum.

If this is true about Ryan, then why isn't there at least an attempted revolt from the HFC, who both supported him for speaker and still do so?

The hypocrisy flying around is breathtaking. If Speaker Ryan is so bad for the Trump agenda, then where is the will in the Congressional GOP to stop it? I hear crickets from the HFC on that point.

Apparently, they want to leave Speaker Ryan in charge and just keep bitching and nothing more. If they oppose what Ryan did, then let them oppose Ryan as Speaker.

I certainly would love to see that, but, like I say, it's apparently more desirable for the HFC (and others in the House GOP) to flap their gums, rather than take courageous action against a Speaker who is ostensibly out to sabotage the President.

So what if they fail? At least they could put the idea out there and argue its merits.

But no. They meekly say "we support our Speaker". The entire GOP House is a bunch of cowards, including the HFC. If Paul Ryan is the problem, then why aren't they saying so?

Obstruction is easy. Let's see some constructive leadership in the House from somebody.
