It was supposed to be good enough to pass to kill Obamacare but not to last and fixed in part 2 and 3 which would not pass. What it boils down to Trump wanted to kill Health Care and use the money for a tax cut.

Yeah, if they were doing phase I because they didn't have 60 votes in the Senate for the rest where were the votes for the other parts gonna come from later on? It's not like rats were gonna have some kind of come to Jesus moment.

And it's not like we haven't been told "don't worry, we'll fix it later" about a million times. How's that track record.

I can see "repeal" and "we'll fix it later" (that's the kind of "don't worry" I can handle) and there's the money for tax cuts but wow, I sure think that the FC kept us from eating a stinker.
