You are right about no moral leadership. But I was being taught moral relativism back in the 60’s. Also, “don't be judgemental!” was beaten into us. Things are disintegrated now that the 60’s kids are in charge. Trump is a throwback. I detested “Just say no” campaign. Most kids will mimic this mindless slogan in1st grade like mine did. But it plants an idea in an innocent mind of sin. These kids become teens who then experiment with "sin". thus the failure of government sponsored prohibiton as in the 20’s and now with a drug epidemic. Just say no is not what I consider a moral guide to life for children.

“Moral guide for children” - yes, that is exactly the point. Starting with Clinton, then accelerated greatly by Obama, our gov has pushed moral relativism, forced acceptance of perversion, and “there is no truth” to our children. They grow up steeped in it. Government can do a lot to influence the morals of a nation and especially of its children who grow up with 8 or 16 years of a particular administration’s leadership on values. It’s going to be a long, slow, tough slog to turn the nation around and the guy at the top wields enormous influence.
