Do a search on YouTube for ‘last night of the proms’ to hear it sung with patriotic enthusiasm by large crowds. It’s easy to think that Britain is lost beyond hope of redemption, but there are lots of patriotic Brits (and others by the display of flags) left.

I've attended Last Night and hope to do so again over the next few years. It's a wonderful experience - and, yes, shows how deeply patriotism still exists in the heart of many Britons.
