I’m not arguing at all. I’m just stating facts. You continue to defend sadistic animal abuse and sex crimes.

You obviously didn’t even read what I wrote.

I’m not defending sex crimes.

I’m saying that there should only be very few things like rape and child molestation that should get you on it, not one count of public indecency or walking through your house naked or all the other dumb things that get you on it. Because states are inundated with registrants, they cannot provide efficient supervision of the ones that really need to be watched and checked out because there are so many registrants. It leads to cases like Jaycee Duggard, and that illegal immigrant multiple offender raping that girl. If the state had resources to provide adequate supervision of those perps they would not have been able to commit more crimes or at the very least be more dissuaded to.

In the case of Jaycee Duggard, the perps probation/parole officer came to the house MULTIPLE TIMES, and asked who the girl was. The perp and his wife said she was his niece or something, the parole officer NEVER CHECKED IT OUT! and she was held prisoner and raped for a decade giving birth to multiple children. Because of the fact that a ton of registrants are not predators and the actual predators don’t get watched like they should. There are not enough resources.

As legislators add more sex crimes and the lists expand exponentially(they certainly will) their effectiveness(which is close to zero anyways) will decline. They are not effective in stopping offenders from re-offending if they want to, most don’t re-offend anyways. Just the ACTUAL PREDATORS need to be either jailed , killed, or put under very strict supervision and be checked on monthly or weekly(full property and personal item inspection).

As for animal abuse, animals are abused every day, in every corner of the globe. I find it disgusting to abuse animals, it’s not something I would do. Certainly not a pet. But if someone does it’s none of my business, and they certainly shouldn’t get 5 years for it nor any jail time IMO. I’m not naive enough to think consuming animal products does not contribute to animal cruelty and abuse in some form. It is what it is.

We’re at a point where you can murder your unborn child whose heart is beating and have zero penalty for the murder of a living human being, but tape YOUR dog’s muzzle shut, or beat it and you get to do years. It’s totally backwards and our legal system is broken.
