Gotta keep that money pot boiling.
Starfish Prime (250 miles altitude) was well outside the atmosphere.
The ozone hole shrinks and grows depending on season... chloroflourocarbons or no chlorflourocarbons.
As far as anyone knows there has always been a seasonal thin spot down there... the atmosphere plays differently in the southern hemisphere where in contrast to the north, there is uninterrupted open sea all around Antarctica and nothing to slow air down. That causes a chain effect even into the layers above.
The ozone hole hysteria was due to new data coming in from a new satellite being used politically. They neglected to inform anyone they had no old data to use as a baseline.
I want my FREON back-
Here is a FACT:

How many penguins are mutating at this minute?
How many researchers in Antarctica have Skin Cancer from EXPOSURE?
Ultraviolet light ain’t hitting NOTHING but Ice & Water!!

Progressivism is in perpetual need of an enemy against which to refresh its outrage.
True. The ozone hole fluctuates in response to solar radiation levels.
Which hole ? North or South ?
I've noticed that coffee is getting to be like detergent. Very diluted and ineffective.

Somebody has to pay the fee the companies use to bribe politicians.
Well... I recall that for the entire stretch of human history, there were those who predicted ‘death and destruction’ of an all encompassing nature. It was always used as a way to control the masses. Fear of the Future is one of the most powerful psychological tools. So powerful that now it is used every day, on everyone who watches TV.
Examples:
Mayan Priests predicting an eclipse.
Egyptian Priests predicting the flooding of the Nile.
British Leaders predicting the collapse of Britain over BREXIT.
American media predicting the collapse of the US under Trump.
