Ohio Gov. John Kasich, told CNNs State of the Union on Sunday that the extremes in both parties should be marginalized so reasonable Republicans and Democrats can get something done.
So you, and some other FR posters today, feel that finally, President Trump and Gov. Kasich are on the same page. I don’t think that is what is happening but you’ve already been told.

As long as the Senate requires 60 votes Trump has to. After giving conservatives almost everything we wanted Trump has to be pretty pissed off when we wouldn’t back him in a temporary measure designed to slow the bleeding from Obamacare. It shows a lack of loyalty and foresight, and it makes conservatives a pretty bad group to try and cut a deal with.
