The only generalization about boomers is they had more premarital sex and divorced more and were more liberal than their folks but particularly their grandparents on culture

It started with boomer liberals. There were a huge number of them especially in colleges. There were no real vocal opposition to the boomer left in campus. The boomer liberals completely owned the political narrative on campus. They grew and spread into many key institutions where they can indoctrinate later generations at ease. Naturally more left/liberals are found in later generations than boomers. But they got the ball rolling. Do not blame a handful of older master left wing revolutonaries like Chomsky. Likes of him wouldn't go anywhere unless there were lots of willing boomers.

Who started massive anti-establishment pro-liberal movement? They did. Why don't you compare boomer liberals with previous generation than later generations who the boomer left brainwashed so successfully? They decided to break with previous generations and existing institutions in deliberate and organized manner. They are the ones who started the destruction which is ongoing today.

Ethnicity.

In 1972, about 85% of Boomers were white.

In 2016, about 55% of eligible 18 year old voters were white.

Young white people in 2012 still voted about the same way they voted in 1972.

For instance, Romney beat Obama 49%-48% among white women under 30 years of age.

On the other hand, Obama beat Romney by close to 80%-20% among young non-white voters.

Massive LEGAL immigration is destroying Conservative political power.

Since a majority of Republicans still support massive LEGAL immigration, I think violent civil conflict in the USA is inevitable within one or two decades.

I agree with you that it is incorrect to try to define politics and attitudes generationally.

Most boomers were not leftists or liberals.

The leftists bragged that the were speaking for young people and the media continually repeated that falsehood.

You are right young people supported Nixon in 1972 despite the fact that the media continually attacked him and said young people should oppose him.

Boomers overwhelmingly supported Reagan also.

Young people today are subjected to constant leftist propaganda. Both at school and in the media and the culture they are fed leftist disinformation constantly.

But when they get a job they turn conservative.

Young people voting for Obama was a big reason why he got elected.

Part of this was the incompetent campaigns of McCain and Romney.

If McCain, Romney or Jeb had run in 2016, Hillary Clinton would be president now.
