That's awfully hard on the ponies anyway. It's enough if there's a few around for messengers or logistics runs.

But plenty of cannons, hand and otherwise.

Just so. But we at least have some excellent examples to follow. And some examples of colossal blunders to not repeat. And we have a motto:

When a million Soviet invaders came to Finland in late 1939, the Finns had a little saying about being outnumbered....

There are so many of them! And our country is so small!

Where will we bury them all...?
