I like Ted Koppel. His Nightline show was more hard news and watchable than it is now that he left ABC.
But Ted is different, now.
Just like Nightline.
Ted is married to my Uncle’s bothers daughter Grace Ann. I can remember as a kid listening to the family talk about this guy she married, and being so aghast that he was Jewish. All that talk stopped after he made it big. When my dad died they had a mass said for him at the National Cathedral in DC. It made my Mom so happy. Don’t like his Liberal ways, but they were always nice to the family.
He was good at what he did. He made Corsi and his friends look like fools because of the way he manipulated the interview. There was some truth to what they had to say. He didn’t treat them with respect. . .
As Koppel’s Nightline evolved it became apparent that
it supported the liberal POV. And more and more Americans
were increasingly aware that the media had a left bias.
On occasion the Nightline program would explore the bias
complaints from the right. Of course, by the end of the
program Koppel always divulged the “truth” which, of
course, was pre-determined. His truth was that reporters
just wanted to challenge the powerful and there was no
particular bias. We all know that was a lie. Thank
Koppel and the MSM for the growth of the alternative
conservative media. Teddy should point the finger at
himself.
