Here’s one hopeful thought I am having. They are hiring 15,000 new ice agents. As soon as they round up all the criminal illegals and deport them, are they going to fire those 15,000? Doesn’t seem likely… Hopefully they will be used to deport and round up the remaining illegals. Maybe they’re not announcing it now in order to have it be a surprise, or minimize the negative press, or just to do one step at a time.
If they don’t, I will be very disappointed. Read, irate! They’ll be hearing from me.
Poor Oliver. First he paces one way. Then the other. He’s a nervous wreck. Somebody get him a nick tall stiff drink!
My hope is that they are just prioritizing.
All the new hires to train, criminals to deport, sanctuary and judicial obstruction to work around in order to apprehend other criminals as well as who knows what else behind the scenes (putting together a criminal investigation/case against the Obama administration, I hope) - their plate is really full. And Sessions doesn’t have all his staff in place yet, does he?
