I read a biography of Daniel Boone during Earth Hour. Tonight’s chapter was about how he first went off into the Kentucky wilderness by himself. I thought about really getting into the mood by building a campfire, but it’s raining so I just sat by a lamp with one of those newfangled curly light bulbs. The rest of the house was dark, but that’s usual because we don’t leave lights on in a room if we are not in it. How’s that?
I turned on all the lights for Human Achievement Hour!
Earth hour has no value under any conditions or circumstances.
If these Marxists cared so much about the environment, they wouldn’t waste so much paper, electronics, and travel on propagating a lie.
I'm looking at you, climate "science."
Well, since it had no value at any other time, I have to assume the answer is still no.
It’s all empty virtue signaling.
What a bunch of crap. Got a private Reply email from a Freeper in Alaska who says that there are hardly any moose seen in areas where they were once plentiful (due to unlimited hunting). That wolf packs now number up to 15 which make them the perfect killing machine for moose/elk, smaller mammals, birds, etc.
Freeper said that a veteran hunter/pilot said that he has never seen the animal life situation so bad, a lot of which has been caused by bad hunting practices and wildlife management practices at the governmental level.
Man has done some serious damage to wildlife but it can be corrected with better preservation practices and management policies, including getting rid of traps, baiting and shooting wildlife from helicopters.
I wish I could find the article that talked about the thousands and thousands of species lost before humans made a impact...
