As conspiracies go, this is a tasty one.

But my problem is that Ryan may have tanked his future chances (in his own mind!) of ever becoming POTUS.

Ryan is like Bill Clinton. He wants to BE SOMEBODY. No interest in actually DOING ANYTHING.

Oh Ryan thinks he will be President alright he just has to deliver for the GOPe so he can build a massive war chest to fend off any primary challengers. The problem is he needs to cripple Trump first and then present himself as the viable alternative, the professional rescuing the Republican Party from the amateur who can't produce results. It's in Ryan's interest to sabotage Trump's agenda.Trump however won't be so easy to roll over but I think Trump needs to make friends with and plan his strategy with the House Freedom Caucasus and get lying Ryan out of there.The GOPe is dedicated to 3 things: off load corporate health care costs on to the U.S. government thus the U.S. taxpayer,comprehensive immigration reform also known as amnesty,and reduction of multinational corporate tax rates and tariffs shifting the tax burden on to small business and the shrinking middle class to fund an ever expanding government while maintaining the pretense of being the small government party.
