Paul Ryan sucks. It makes me sick to my stomach that I went out and voted for him and mittens in 2012.

At least I don't have that on my conscience.

Ryan yesterday, “failure of healthcare will make Tax Reform difficult”. Why in God’s name, does Trump allow this punk to disrespect him?

Paul Rino should NEVER have been speaker in the first place - I said that years ago when Cantor was driven out.

Compromise is a two way street. One of the problems with your post is that you assume it's the Freedom Caucus and not Ryan and the RINOs who didn't compromise. But you offer no proof of it.

He is now a she...... Maybe we should refer to them as ‘it’

The current parliamentarian is Elizabeth MacDonough, who has held the office
since 2012, and was appointed by then Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

The MORONS just can’t get though their thick skulls that it takes 60 freakin’ votes in the Senate to outright repeal Obamacare, so it has to be done in stages.

Why can't you can't get it through your fricken head that that is a lie.

There exists a half dozen ways they can undo it. To start with the could have defunded it 6 years ago but Boehner the Ryan funded every dollar of it, not to mention they seem to have funded a stash for Obama to hand out freely to our enemies including some of George Soros' political organizations.

We have ObamaCare because J Street wants it period.

Thank you all for your thoughtful responses to my post #25. Judging by your responses, perhaps I did not state my point clearly enough. The Freedom Caucus should have stood firm at the beginning of the year during the vote for leadership, particularly the Speaker position. After what Ryan pulled during the election season last year, he should NEVER have been rewarded with the speakership again. He was and remains a disaster. To oppose him now, after they had already caved during the leadership elections, just compounds the disaster of making Ryan speaker again.

I wish the Freedom Caucus and others in the House who are dismayed at what happened would push for a new speaker, but that is not likely to happen.

We are stuck with a speaker who is not nearly as smart as he was portrayed to be when he was coming up through the ranks. We are stuck with a disloyal speaker who is out only for himself. We are stuck with a speaker who can't lead his way out of a paper bag. We are stuck with a divided House caucus that, trust me, now has real, possibly unbridgeable bitterness among its members. We are stuck with a Republican House caucus that has thumbed its collective nose at the President and handed him an unnecessary defeat that could cripple his presidency permanently.

To everything there is a season. There is a time to stand firm and a time to compromise. To take the longer view. To live to fight another day.

None of this would have happened if the more conservative members of the House had refused to back Ryan at the beginning of the year. I am heartbroken about the situation, because I don't know if the damage can be reversed. President Trump has been in office slightly over two months and has little to show for it thanks to the do-nothing congressional Republicans who can't get their act together.

The problems of getting the government out of the medical insurance business, annihilating the Federal judiciary and fighting mooselimb terrorists can ONLY be solved via DICTATORSHIP.

The constitutionalist don't like it but I have been saying this for years. There is no way Trump can undo Obama without using the same powers he did. Like it or not it is true.

Ditto, for the present Senate Majority Leader! This is the ongoing problem with too many RINO Republicans in place and the very slow process of, finally, putting an end to RINO Republicanism: They ALL need to go at the same time, asap!

The ONLY way to get rid of SphincterCare WITHOUT 60 votes in the Senate is to do it in stages.

That is just a fact.

It is a fact that that is what they have you convinced of, but it is not a fact.

A job for Newt! ... But he probably would not move back to the DC area for anything ... Callista would go along. She’s too smart to step down in that sewer.

The RATS had 60 votes to pass SphincterCare, it takes 60 to repeal it.

No they didn't. Do you not remember this guy?

Because he won Kennedy's seat Reed passed the bill through reconciliation. Majority vote only required.

Ryan probably did not believe that Trump would win and was unprepared to lead the fight to repeal Obamacare.

Where do you think the bill he tried to ram through came from? He was well prepared to continue down the path to single payer, which is the Swamps goal.

How can Ryan afford such a huge expensive house in DC?

Remember how Nancy demanded a big jet to fly her back and forth to California and other exotic vacation spots along with her friends? Well Ryan still has that jet at his disposal.

Yes, compromise can be a two-way street, although it does not always have to be. As for proof, members of the Freedom Caucus acknowledge that the President pushed Ryan to add or remove items from the bill that the FC did not like. So there was compromise coming from the President. If you want to see or hear the proof for yourself, do a little bit of research or go to Sean Hannity's website and listen to some of his radio program last week.

thanks to the do-nothing congressional Republicans

No one wanted the Speaker job. I think Louie Ghomert finally threw his hat in the ring and got maybe 2 votes. It is painful to watch but the people have no representatives only those with the ability to pay the graft have a voice. As that most trusted voice in America used to say, "That’s the way it is" and he was a dagnabbed commie.

Can him based, not on the failure of ryancare but on his refusal to acknowledge the existence of the conservatives in the House and to deal with them.

Well, remember that Nehlen (sp?) did run against Paul RINO last year but the WI idiots went back to their vomit and voted full on RINO again. Just another perfect example for term limits! Word has it that Nehlen is thinking of running against him again on the next round. He’s got the money .. why not?
