I can’t wrap my head around the notion of American citizens who think it’s alright for our government to FORCE us to buy insurance!!!
Hugo Chavez, yes.... Castro, yes... but here in the USA?!?!?
And it’s not even good insurance.
New Hampshire and Virginia are the only states that do not require motor vehicle insurance. In New Hampshire vehicle owners must satisfy a personal responsibility requirement; instead of paying monthly premiums, and prove that they are capable of paying in case of an accident. In Virginia vehicle owners may pay an uninsured motorist fee.
