Romney almost won. It was the 47 percent that ruined him.


Sorry, but he did not almost win. It wasn’t even close. Both McCain and Romney were afraid to really go after Obama.

Worse than that, they willingly served as the token opposition to make sure he didn’t lose (see also: Jeb Bush 2016).

Both McCain and Romney gave the office to Obama.

That was the plan of the eGOP all along.

The lazy elite GOP don’t mind being second banana, they still get their perks and chance to become multi millionaires and blame it all on the dems while the smile and collect their graft.

Well ... if he meant without the leak of the COMMENT about the 47% who don’t pay taxes, then no, that didn’t cause the loss.

If he meant the actual votes of those 47%, then it definitely did cause the loss. Had those tax-free voters simply stayed home on election day rather than voting for Obozo, Romney would have been President in a landslide.
