Yeah, the ‘secret’ was that Trump didn’t care. He’s said many times that Obamacare would explode on it’s own. He was fine with the bill passing or failing so no one could ‘back him into a corner’.

Which is a different thing than "we're going to have a beautiful health care system. Your premiums and deductibles will be cheaper and you'll have better insurance. It will be so beautiful"

After it fails and people suffer. He can point to this bill and say “I tried to prevent this but Congress wouldn’t let it happen.”

And after Obamacare fails, and people suffer, Congress will pass “a beautiful health care system. Your premiums and deductibles will be cheaper and you’ll have better insurance. It will be so beautiful”
