Nah. Trump let Ryan hang himself. He could never have trusted the putz Ryan, but laid himself out there to exhibit he was doing his part to lift Ryan over the line.
Ryan failed to deal. So, the deal failed.
I think it might get pulled, possibly, and finished better than Ryan’s rag bill allowed, or else voted down, and something can emerge that is much simpler, like a stand alone “Repeal” of Obamacare which should pass with ease.
Not happening.
Plus Trump never called for that, nor is he calling for that now.
“We're going to have insurance for everybody,” Trump said. “There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can't pay for it, you don't get it. That's not going to happen with us.”
