I think people have to go up and examine Rockville, and the past decade. I lived in Arlington, VA for 3.5 years and came to know Rockville to some minor degree. Across the whole spectrum....from churches to social groups...it’s drilled in on a daily basis and I think seventy-percent of the public was buying the agenda.
Maybe this episode will unlock political groups to now question and fire individuals who are part of the problem, but I have my doubts. Montgomery County (essentially considered a district of DC) isn’t the place that attracts anyone in search of a good school or safe residence. The entire county is working toward being a low-income district over the next decade.
Montgomery County was an affluent area back when I lived in DC a couple decades ago. Now it is busy trying to be the Maryland cess pool version of Arlington, VA. it seems.
My late cousin who lived in Montgomery County used to refer to it as “Soweto.”
Yet it is being reported as 10th or 11th highest median income in the country.
