No, don’t ladle up bullshit about having Pence ignore the Parliamentarian. You won’t get even 10 Senators to vote to kill the filibuster, which is what that is. You can’t declare every single bill to be Reconciliation. That’s silly and has already been dismissed.

And before you swagger forth with “just let Obamacare die and that will fix everything”, understand how budgets work. It’s In The Budget. Funding is on autopilot. You want to extract it? 60 votes. You want to kill all funding to be sure to kill that item? You won’t find 5 votes support for that.

Politics is the art of the possible. What they are pursuing is what is possible. You have a chance to nudge it and improve it. Just be sure you go through the Parliamentarian.
I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make. Do you imagine Ryan’s bill will get 60 votes in the Senate? Obamacare passed using the reconciliation process and it will have to be repealed the same way.

I thought that Obamacare, as it exists now, was created through reconciliation without the required 60 votes (because Kennedy died, leaving the Dems 59 votes).
Is there some reason Republicans can not repeal it the same way?

The PLP lied to you in 2014 saying they needed to control the Senate, even though they could have defunded the ACA during any of the previous four years. The PLP lied to you again in 2016 saying they needed the Presidency to repeal, again, they could have easily defunded while controlling both houses of congress. Now, the PLP lies about repeal and replace. How many lies until it is obvious they never intended to repeal the ACA?
