What does the owner of 1000 acres of desert with absolutely nothing on it have? Nothing. If it comes to the apocalyptic event, using an analogy, even vampires run out of victims. Who do they bite then and who does the last one bite? Same with the rich. If they have no one to be richer than or what they have means nothing, are they rich?

They have solitude and no one meddling in their lives. Granted, that may crip their accustomed to lifestyle, but as far as I’m concerned I’d be fine on my square mile of high desert with its trout stream, mule deer, chukar and mountain lion.
