Nope, I'm not inclined to cut pedophiles a break because they happen to be females and the underage kids they have sex with are 17. This is how pedophiles hope their behavior starts being normalized, by having the rest of us see cases like this as no big deal.

A pedophile is a person that engages in sex with pre-pubescent children. What this person did is not legal by statute based on current society’s norms, but the actual act is in no way unnatural.

The ‘child’ wasn’t even under the age of consent and I highly doubt the teacher forced herself upon him.

Having said that there is a law against someone in authority engaging in a sexual relationship with another person as that authority can be used for coercion.
