Sept. 12: The NCAA, citing a commitment to fairness and inclusion, announces it would move seven championship events from the state of North Carolina. That included first- and second-round games for the NCAA men's basketball tournament that were slated for Greensboro, N.C., for March 17-19, 2017. It is in direct response to the state's passing of House Bill 2, also known as the "bathroom bill," which critics say discriminates against the LGBT community.

Duke’s coach, after their 1st round win, was spouting off about how he found North Carolina’s bathroom protection legislation to be “silly”.
So glad the Gamecocks turned him into a cuck.
I'd bet anything Duke would have a 2-1 advantage in FTs over SC.
Stunned how even they were.
SC shot about 71% from the field in the second half. Hard to beat anyone doing that.
Betcha K would be upset if some perv went into the bathroom when his wife did.
haha you said it bro
The profanity almost got FM booted from SC, but he cleaned up his vocabulary and was allowed to remain. He hasn’t lost that intensity, and the players seem to like him.
He seems very good about getting players to step up and play roles in the compilation of a strong team. There have been several moderately talented players over the past 4 years who have really blossomed to become good SEC level players.
I do not think it takes too much to fall from FM’s graces. Rumors have it that you do not make eye contact with coach when you are getting verbally reprimanded. One talented freshman disappeared from the roster during SEC games mid season, and has only recently reappeared.
All in all, Frank Martin is a good coach and one of the best at developing players to reach their maximum potential. It is great fun to watch his teams (usually) due to their intensity.
So what, life goes on. No one wants to lose but it was their turn, and those other guys weren't going to just go away.
Be a good sport and shake hands with the other team and then take your seniors out for a good meal after the game and tell them thanks for the memories.
The ball must go in the basket for your team more than the opponents team.
Technically not true. Ten 3 point scores would beat 14 two point scores in a game.
Can someone tell me why UNC hasn’t gotten the death penalty yet?
This shows NCAA is full of fake outrage. If somebody had told me when I was in college that NCAA would boycott states over bathroom rules, I wouldn’t have believed it. This country is permitting insanity to run amok.
My Jayhawks were glad to see Frank leave Kansas State. His players were scrappers; he was a helluva motivator. I’m happy to Frank and the Gamecocks are in the sweet 16.
The out-of-state-rant doesn’t fly. It’s 4 hours from Durham to Greenville SC.
Duke’s strength is when they make their shots.
Duke’s weakness is when they miss.
S.Carolina’s strength is when they make their shots.
Their weakness is when they miss.
Duke’s weakness was prominently on display.
S. Carolina’s strength was much in evidence.
That particular night.
People will insist it’s more complicated. I insist that it is more complicated only if you want it to be.
Well, it’s like this. A bunch of male perverts wanted to pee in the little girls room...
South Carolina played 2 home games. It’s difficult for any team to win on the road, even Duke. I’m not a Duke fan either.
Let me see here where are all the ACCs? only 1 left? Like OMG.
Behind the scenes public relations gurus, talking heads, and sports operatives, and a mindless, biased media convinced the sports junkies and causal fans of the game, that Duke was a much better team than they really are, despite the obvious flaws, thereby elevating Duke to unreasonable expectations, where failure was inevitable. In short, expectations were driven by polls, which drove expectations and the belief that Duke can’t lose. Sound familiar?
Why weren’t they ahead by 50 points!
This country WAS permitting insanity. That is WHY we elected Donald Trump.
And screw the NCAA and the bathroom perverts.
True.
