The Blaze founder Glenn Beck on Monday took to Twitter to question whether one of the most popular television hosts on his network was intellectually honest.
Beck was criticizing Tomi Lahren, host of TheBlaze TVs Tomi.
Lahren has been criticized in some conservative circles after a Friday appearance on ABCs "The View" for revealing that she supports abortion rights.
You know what? Im for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well, Lahren said. On Monday, Lahren tweeted that she has moderate, conservative, and libertarian views.
I'm human. I will never apologize, to anyone, for being an independent thinker.
Beck, a former Fox News host, shot back at Lahren on Twitter on Monday.
Wait, libertarian views? Help me out on Trumpcare, stimulus, and executive orders. Trump is anything but libertarian, wrote Beck, while adding the hashtag #intellectualhonesty.
The Daily Caller reported last week that Lahren is considering parting ways with the Blaze in September if not sooner.
The 24-year-old University of Nevada, Las Vegas graduate has 4.3 million followers on her Facebook page and more than 665,000 followers on Twitter.
NOPE, they baby has life or it doesn’t. My response to anyone in that position for any reason would be to get Godly counseling from a Biblically based institution.. God’s grace is sufficient for all..
Children conceived in rape or incest are human beings, no less so than those conceived in a loving marriage. The circumstances surround ones conception do not justify ripping them to shreds in a barbaric and excruciatingly painful way. If you were consistent in your thinking you’d see that. As far as “forcing” a woman to carry a child conceived in rape, why don’t you read the testimonies of women who have experienced such a thing. Overwhelmingly they feel two things: regret and anger because they bought into the lie that an abortion would take away their “problem” or a sense of making something beautiful come from something awful when they chose to keep their babies. As a civilized society, and a shining example for the world, we as a nation can do better by women if we support them in carrying their crisis pregnancies to term and helping her keep their babies or place them for adoption
I have two daughters. If they get pregnant as teenagers my approach to the situation would not differ. They would face their responsibility and my grandchild would not be denied the right to life based on someone else’s convenience.
You obviously feel differently which makes you pro-choice, in other words pro-abortion. Are you aware that Free Republic is a pro-life forum?
Oh and I’d also add that life of the mother is a straw man argument. Physicians have testified before congress that late term abortions are never necessary to save the life of the mother. Most children can be delivered by c section prematurely in a matter of minutes if the mother’s life is in eminent danger.
There’s no emotion or illogical thought here. I find those arguments come from pro-aborts life yourself. The pro-life position is one of intellectual honesty and consistency and it’s based on science & irrefutable evidence.
“As far as I know, he does. Hes very open about do your own research.
History (AKA His Story) is a very interesting series (currently on hiatus.) If nothing else, Beck is a very good storyteller.”
He was a morning zoo host.
