Actually, better than election time. Trump’s ratings had sunk into the low 30s back then. The truth is, polls by live operators are garbage. The silent majority factor is still in place. Even the exit polls had Hillary winning in a landslide.
If I recall correctly, the Gallup poll for 2012 was so miserable that it decided not to do an election poll in 2016. The difference between Rasmussen and Gallup is so great it definitely needs an explanation.
