Last Friday I received a US Treasury check indicating my income tax was over paid
Today I received a notice indicating I owed the precise same amount for income taxes un paid
I had the identical thing happen some years ago with them. It took somewhat longer for the notice to me that back taxes were owed for the amount they sent.
