Complete Headline: Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz to STEP DOWN after his anti-Trump vow to hire 10,000 refugees backfired, provoked a boycott by Donald supporters and hit sales.
Howard Schultz, the current CEO of Starbucks, is weeks away from stepping down from his role at the giant coffee chain next month.
The move, which was announced in December of last year, comes after his vow to hire thousands refugees in response to President Donald Trump's first travel ban appeared to hurt customer sentiment and dent their sales.
Trump supporters have called for a boycott of the chain since January 29, when Schultz vowed to hire 10,000 refugees over five years.
Schultz in a letter to employees said the promise of the American Dream was 'being called into question' and that 'the civility and human rights we have all taken for granted for so long are under attack.'

the civility and human rights we have all taken for granted for so long WERE under attack WHEN I OPENED MY BIG MOUTH!,said Schultz.
I hope his ‘golden parachute’ fails to open.
Money talks, bullsh## walks.
Meanwhile, pro-American companies like Chick-Fil-A and New Balance are doing quite well....

In December of 2016 Howard Schultz announced he would step down as Starbuck’s CEO.
In January of 2017 Starbucks announced it would hire 10,000 refugees in its stores around the world.
In does not appear that Starbucks’ announcement to hire refugees had anything to do with Schultz’s announcement that he was stepping down.
BTTT
Reached 57.64 on Feb 23 and trended down until March 14th.
Beginning March 14 ($54.27) the price has been trending up for three days closing at $55.78 on March 17.
Surely the days are numbered for Targets CEO to get the heave ho
I don’t care if Schultz personally writes me a letter to apologize.
What better way to support local entrepreneurs, local community values and local business than to visit your locally-owned coffee shop instead of the leftist corporate drones at Starbucks?
Our local barristers are a lot more fun and interesting anyway.
That dumb liberal fart disserved what he had coming, couldnt have happen to a nicer guy, what did he expect...accolades ?
On January 29, 2017 when Starbuck announced that it would hire 10,0000 refugees, Starbucks stock was selling for $55.90.
On March 17, 2017 Starbucks stock closed at $55.78.
It does not appear that the refugee announcement by Starbucks has had a great impact on their stock price.
