In fact, “chasing clicks” is seriously exacerbating an already bad problem.
For instance, NBC news maintains a huge updating board at their HQ that shows which stories are receiving the most attention (clicks) on the internet.
Of course, the most popular articles at NBC are rabidly anti-Trump. So now an already ideologically dishonest “news” organization has a substantial financial interest to become even more dishonest. It becomes self-perpetuating.
Bad stuff ahead people. Truth and honesty in the media, an absolute per-requisite for intelligent self-government, have no chance in this environment.

I could care less what the EU thinks of us and our government. Just look at their condition. Who’s getting attacked the most by ISIS? Just look at their financial condition. That is kind of funny they cater their coverage according to the clicks. I say that because no person in their right mind would go to a news source like NBC News online to get their news.

I honestly don't understand why Europe isn't up in arms. German banks are bleeding Greece, Crete, Italy and others dry while at the same time these countries are forced to take care of migrants.
