Ryancare puts the cart before the horse because it chooses the Budget Reconciliation process, which cannot address the real problems with the ACA...and with Fed intrusion into personal health prior to the ACA going all the way back to WWII.
1. There is no rational reason health insurance was tied to employers.
2. There is no rational reason health insurance should be emphasized by the government over medical sharing plans and voluntary charity.
3. The word healthcare does not actually refer to health care. Taken literally, the word Healthcare means Lifestyle, diet, exercise, prayer/meditation and caring for your health. But government has made it to mean methods of paying for medical services when you don’t have health.
4. The ACA has turned highly educated medical providers into data entry clerks. They spend so much time on data entry, they have little time left to actually examine and talk with patients.
5. CMS rules and regulations of insurance companies, states that manage Medicaid and other programs, medical providers and medical consumers makes the entire process inefficient and counter-productive.
These and other problems too numerous to list cannot be solved by the Reconciliation process. Reconciliation handles taxes and spending...Budget. Absolutely no plan makes sense before addressing these other issues. Not the current ACA, not Ryancare, not anybody else’s tax and spending plan.
Correct.
This one defunds the ACA.
Insurance companies will disagree with you as will their employees about group insurance. A company offering a group plan can get those who are uninsurable for X or y insured as it spreads the risk out. Group rates are based upon type of business (office vs assembly type, etc.) and claims/loss ratio. There are major benefits and advantages to group insurance. Insurance companies will always prefer healthy office workers vs. construction companies.
