I am not an expert - but I have followed Ann’s blog for a couple of years.

There is a fact sheet on the menu bar that could tell you all about the benefits that refugees get, such as soc security, housing, etc. (and there are many benefits).
The refugees are selected by the UN and supposedly “vetted” by the UN, although Ann is the expert, that’s what I recall from her blog.
It is most concerning that the large “Christian” agencies are in the business of settling refugees. They get money for each person they “resettle”. And this is where the initial 1980 resettlement law has been perverted from its original intent, along with bad actors who get in the scam (some are Imams).
The refugee program could be vastly improved and Ann often makes suggestions on her blog.
But whatever improvements might be made, the issue is the consequences of bringing in so many who are NOT planning to assimilate or those who are dropped in and not “resettled” properly.
And if you listen to the end of that video (see last link) you learn that wherever there are “refugees” they bring in UN peacekeepers. There’s the silent invasion.
Read that again - the UN Peacekeepers are on US SOIL - brought in by our US tax dollars by the refugee program (sovereignty alert).
Consequences - read here about a teacher with 25 students, 17 of which were refugees - but I would not consider them “resettled”. Someone dropped them into the US and left them to the schools to deal with.
