My doctor of many years is dropping the Humana supplement insurance I have the first of April. I’m sitting here shaking my head and no I haven’t a doctor for a replacement. I often went to my local urgent care instead of the doctor because I could just walk in. Now the urgent care isn’t honoring my insurance. So this healthcare issue really ticks me off.
I am without insurance for last 3 years. I can’t buy individual insurance in CA, can’t afford.
This year first time received letter from IRS for penalty fee, but Pres. Trump had signed regulation , now I don’t have to pay.
Next step is to watch and see what new bill will offer.
I have a small catering business when OCARE started I was forced to find a job for healthcare my premiums and deductibles were SO HIGH I couldn’t afford it anymore!! I found a job where I only have to work 24 hours a week and I have GREAT healthcare they are union, YUCK, but they have wonderful healthcare!! I make minimum wage but only having to work 24 hours a week I can still operate my business!!! MANY, MANY of my friends who have small businesses have been SO SCREWED for so many years now they are ready to ciose their small businesses and go to work just for the sake of healthcare for their families!!! This is such a sad state of affairs my friends are paying a HUGE premiums and STILL paying for care out of pocket because of the HUGE deductibles!! ILLEGALS are still granted healthcare FREE in this bill, NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! OUR citizens AND veterans are suffering YET we STILL GIVE care to illegals!!!
