I hate seeing this. I never considered burning the flag as free speech. Saying you hate the flag is free speech, but burning it is entirely different. If I don’t like someone I can say something, but I don’t get to slug them. I think the flag, even though it can’t feel anything, should be protected.

The flag does not represent Trump, the Republicans or even the government. It represents the 13 original colonies, our struggle for independence, and all the people living in all 50 states, and anywhere it is flown. Including all of us.

I think the flag, even though it can’t feel anything, should be protected.

I agree, and think we should be excused, maybe even heralded for beating the crap out of flag abusers.
