The total hospital/doctor bill for our first born back in 1961 was about $250 which included a 3-day hospital stay. There has been inflation but nothing like the healthcare industry has brought us..... We paid peanuts for our Blue Cross/Blue Shield policy.

The hospitals jack up charges to insurers to pay for all the "free care" they are giving the parasites. This gouging hyperinflates everyone's claims, which directly spirals up premiums.
