Just heard Gohmert on with Dobbs. He’s saying how impressed he is with how the president worked this.

I am struck by the dishonesty of some/many/a bunch of these guys. This morning while driving I heard some rep (didn’t catch name) with Mike Gallagher. Oh, this was member driven, everyone had chance for input, listening sessions etc. Ryan tried....blah blah. Then tonight Gohmert gives completely opposite talking points, members talked but no input taken, bill already written, Ryan fought changes etc.

Rand Paul was outside the door begging to get to look at the bill, everyone was shut out except for the few Ryan chose.

We saw Ryan wheel it out and then people were called in. That's not listening and having input. Its like writing a book and then have people come in and give suggestions. Then wonder where in the book are your suggestions. Didn't they fit with the theme? Lack of respect is what I saw.

I believe Louie that they gave suggestions but they were so watered down if included but mostly left out. Ryan was only thinking about what the senate would do and failed to even put in the conservatives ideas. He should have let the senate make those cuts.
