NOW that it WONT be vetoed he has gone behind CLOSED doors and changed the whole DAMNED bill!!! That is what is in my craw WHY??? His donors get ALL the benefits right out of the gate AND the American people can WAIT again for something that will NEVER happen!!! Phase 3 is supposed to bring down drug costs ANYONE think for one minute BIG pharma donors are going to go along with this?? The CBC has ready expressed interest in working on the perscription part of bill. That’s the votes needed if he gets them involved. (Something that has NEVER been done with any D admeniistration)
That same repeal bill could not pass now. They were able to pass it before with simple majority because Dems didn’t filibuster. They didn’t filibuster because they knew Obama would not sign it.
The Dems would filibuster for sure this time and Republicans would need 60 Senators to pass.
