Ha, my husband thinks the same thing. Every morning I read the headlines from FR to hum, and he just rolls his eyes.
May I suggest you skip reading headlines to your spouses. Read them to your dog you will be rewarded with sloppy smooches and enthusiastic wagging of their entire backside. It’s a great way to start the day. (My Bully even responds with a jubilent ROU RUV ROO. Followed up with an more anxious ROUT! )
I know the feeling, I try to tell hubby what is “happening” and I know he just doesn’t want to hear it, he knows I’m obsessed with the “happenings” of the day.
At least, he is not watching the lying LSM every evening but gets his news on the web from who knows where.
He seems to know what is going on to some extent and is happy not knowing more.
Maybe the reason I spend so much time with my FRiends is so someone will listen to me. LOL
