They need to move on to the Tax Cut bill

Can they also use reconciliation to process tax reform? I assume they can for all the budget measures.

and get back to healthcare after the entitlements have been gutted.

Yeah, I'm not too crazy about the healthcare "tax credits" just like the EITC (wealth redistribution scheme).

Ryan needs to keep his trap shut and his ego in check and let some else rewrite the bill.

Well, it appears he stole it, as the original sponsor of the "American Health Care Act of 2017" (HB1628) was Representative Diane Black. (ever heard her name?)

The President seems to have steamrollered the positions of Speaker and majority whip in recent days, going in there to get the GOP Congressmen to snap-to. Same for the VP.

No doubt it will be re-written by the likes of Rand Paul or Ted Cruz once it makes it over there.

Then it's "ping-pong" time.

I think we are really seeing our President for who he is inside. He honestly feels this bill will keep his promise. We the people will blame Ryan if it falls short and not our President. He must feel the phase two and three will take care of much of what the American people want. I’m beginning to think the Freedom Causus wouldn’t be happy with anything. They must understand give and take is necessary. Once you give people something for nothing they are not going to be happy without. Too many states took too much and now they don’t want to give up the money.

Isn’t the Senate typically more liberal than the house? So any changes they make won’t be good…
