I can’t believe I’m the first person you’ve ever come across that had this problem. Do you just think you are better than me or what? Listen to some of the experts, including Scott Pruitt. Listen to other people that couldn’t afford their individual policies. Other than than that, please pick on someone else.

Well, you're not the first person to blame the wrong mandate.

Do you just think you are better than me or what?

No, but as a member of the industry, I did study it in depth for a long time, and way before it happened to you. Last time I checked (before Obamacare) IM coverage in Maine was about $425 per person. Take that times four. (we're not rich here).

Listen to some of the experts, including Scott Pruitt. Listen to other people that couldn’t afford their individual policies.

Or we could listen to somebody like the NCPA. Some of the mandates are stupid, like hair replacement, some cost very little, and some very expensive, like mental health and chiropractic care.

With no benefit mandates, you could wind up with real nice cheap insurance that covered nothing.

Other than than that, please pick on someone else.

Pick on you!

I thought we were having a conversation.

Bye!

My sister-in-law went for two years without insurance because her health with severe back problems makes it impossible to afford insurance on her own. She’s now old enough to go on medicare. I understand your situation because my husband paid extra because he had me on his plan and I could have been covered at my work. My work’s coverage wasn’t nearly as good as my husbands but it was much cheaper. Sadly there’s many people like me who have kept quiet about some problems so it won’t be on my health record. There are many people in your situation sadly and that was a big reason for my husband to continue work at his age. We had his insurance until he turned 70 and it was because of me.
