Instead of being a traitor, he is actually the only true patriot. He gave up everything. Just like our forefathers were willing to do.
They husband experience the same thing. He was a whistleblower at work. He was the compliance manager at the largest non-nuclear power plant in California. His boss took emissions monitoring equipment off-line because he knew they were going to violate emissions during an event. My husband caught him at it, and had the choice of either going along with it, thereby being complicit, or whistleblowing. He knew his job there would be over. The boss just got a slap on the hand, so my husband had to quit. Now he’s having trouble finding a new power plant job, probably because the word is out.
Your husband is obviously a man of integrity, deserving of respect for making a decision based on what was right rather than what was best for him personally.
Many swamp people in DC could learn a lot from him.
I hope he will find just the right job where his strength of character will be appreciated.
So sorry, persecution of the honest.
But your hubby was right and can live with himself.
Praying he will find an even better job.
