I wonder if Melania persuaded POTUS not to do the motorcade. With all the recent security breaches, she couldn’t have been too happy about him getting out of the vehicle to wave to the crowd, not to mention inviting a few supporters inside Mar-a-Lago.

I'd like to see the President stay in the car, too. But I worry that Marine One might be an easier target. :-(

Original plan for MarLago had a helipad. Remember reading an article that said Trump had planned to add before he ran for office. Believe it is at his expense. Makes things easier on locals (they won’t have the traffic issues)
