I like to do people the best.
But I’ve done several florals.
This last one was Poppies in a Blue Vase.
I love poppies (remind me of my grandmother), so that sounds nice. I have a print of peonies (which I love and also remind of her) in a vase that I like. I also have a painting/print of a vignette with fruit that I got at my cousin’s antique store some years ago that I like a lot. I’ve done a few pieces that I’ve sketched with charcoal, but my painting that I tried is not good - need to take a class as I love all types of art (have way too many pictures on the walls) just not very good, same with my piano playing.
The poppies piece sounds beautiful. What a treasure, for your family, if you’ve done portraits of them.
