I never well rarely turn my computer off. It went off on its own through the night. When I press the computer button the motor tries to start up. Hope my it’s not burnt out. I use it a lot. Lol. It’s a touch screen desk top. Not 5 years old.
Have you tried unplugging it. Letting it sit awhile and the plugging in back in
If you have it plugged into a power strip check to see if the breaker on the power strip is on. Check that the power plug to the computer is pressed all the way in
