My neighbor is a liberal. Of all the hollers in the Appalachians, I happened to find the one that Yankee transplants moved into. She yelled at me during a hike because I’m not a socialist. I said we were sick of paying taxes to support other people so we Went Galt.
Haven’t spoken to her much sense. Like you said, there’s really no point. I’ll be polite but distant. I know liberals never give up trying to convert people.
And, of course, they are ALWAYS right, won’t even entertain another way to look at something.

Stuff was laughable but those idiots we have been talking about believe it.
