If complete free use of any and every opiates is to be legalized, would have no problem in that as long as open or concealed carry firearms/weapons was the law of the land, without licensure or any need for State reciprocity. Then, as in days of old... encounter a drugged out narco— shoot the f’n bastard in clear self defense. A marked reduction in drug addicts would result, and low recidivism.

Absolutely. I'm with you. Then maybe users would be more likely to restrict their foolishness to the privacy of their own homes...
