Because:
"Because our health center includes a pretty comprehensive amount of sexual and reproductive services, not providing abortions reinforces the idea that abortion is not a part of womens health, when it absolutely is, said Adiba Khan, 20, a student who pushed for the service to be offered on campus. For undergrads and graduate students, abortion is part of their life. Its normal and should be available as easily and cheaply as possible."
Emphasis mine.
Fornication is seen as a college sport.
Men and women don't understand that sexual intercourse results in the conception of a child.
The child so casually conceived is seen by the woman as no more significant than a used tampon.
The male partner (parent) is unaware that a child has been conceived and doesn't care to know.
Sorry to be so graphic, but this is murder.
What happened to “safe, legal and rare”? Horrible as that was, it looks like a big segment of our society has made the transition from tolerance to acceptance to almost celebration, as we have with other formerly frowned upon behaviors.
