“They will never have to testify against each other.”

Spouses can’t be forced to testify against each other, but they can if they want to, right? I don’t know how accurate Law and Order is, but that has been incorporated into a couple of their story lines, IIRC.

Ah, you are right, I believe. I guess it depends on how much they hate each other.

But I just don’t think the Clintons would betray each other. They have too much to lose.
